Another day of filming for #theLIFENY for MIL Network was underway. Austin and Toddy were still filming with the New York show as they maintained a residence in Manhattan. There were talks of a Vegas franchise to join the group of ATL and NY.
MIL Network featured LGBTQ+ content and represented minorities in ways other networks did not. They still worked with cast members that were not a minority or not even a part of the community, but they supported it. MIL was inclusive for all. It was important for Austin to support Toddy’s dream to continue to represent the community in a positive light and be that role model that she never saw on the screen as she grew up. The scene picks up where Ying and Yang Part I ended.
Austin is standing in the doorway looking at his wife as she towels herself off after their bath. He walks over to her and embraces her.
Austin Ramsey: “I missed you today.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “I missed you as well. The babies definitely wanted Daddy, but Berta showed all three of us some tough love. She really is the best.”
Austin Ramsey: “I want to freeze this moment in time, but speaking of time, did you do your promotional stuff for Kaged In?”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “I did, our schedule is insane, but this is an important match for us. I know it’s me putting pressure on myself, but it feels like a must-win situation.”
Austin Ramsey: “Don’t put yourself in that box. You have enough pressure on you right now. You go out there and do your best, and the rest will happen the way it is supposed to. I got you, and you got me. We will go out there and capture the victory while winning the hearts of the fans.”
Todrick turns around and puts her head on his chest. He holds her tight and kisses the top of her head.
Austin Ramsey: “You were nice, weren’t you?”
Todrick says nothing and rubs his arm.
Austin Ramsey: “Yep, I got work to do.”
He kisses her again, walks to his closet, and gets dressed. Toddy is sitting at her vanity humming Part of your world from The Little Mermaid. He never got tired of watching her or hearing her humming her favorite songs. He wanted nothing more than to keep watching her, but he wanted to see his babies. He leans down and turns her face toward him, and kisses her. He tries to pull away, but she holds on and stands up.
AUSTIN CONFESSIONAL
Austin Ramsey: “She be acting like it’s always me that wants sex, but y’all can see who is being hot rump right now. She wants a piece of Mr. Giraffe. Hehehe.”
The scene cuts back as Austin tries to pull away again, but Toddy’s towel “accidentally” falls off. Austin waves off the camera crew, and the scene fades to black.
AUSTIN CONFESSIONAL
Austin Ramsey: “Dammit, man, she got me. I was minding my own business and just going to go see my children. Then she goes and pulls that shit. She knows I was about to cut a promo and bury Kryptonite back in the ocean. If you don’t get that, shame on you; go watch Batman v. Superman. Now I’m all relaxed and…sike, I’m full of rage and testosterone. I’m going to eat those chumps for dinner.
What do we know about them? Two tortured souls that had a rough childhood. Big fucking deal, Austin had one as well. That does not make you stick out. Is it supposed to help your good guy image out? Is it supposed to help you win over the crowd? That ship had already sailed when it was announced that you were facing Todrick Tabor-Ramsey. If she isn’t America’s Sweetheart, then I don’t know who is.
Me, I just don’t give a fuck. All I care about is coming out there, putting you out of your misery, kissing my wife, and getting back to my babies. That strong, silent thing you got going on, how’s that been working out for you? You won’t be so quiet when we face you in that ring. You will cuss the day you ever got booked to face The Show Stealerz. You should because you already lost this match before it began.
We both lost at the last show, but me and Toddy didn’t get the floor mopped with us as you did. We gave as good as we got. We lost to two of the best; you lost to…”
Austin gets a puzzled look on his face for a few seconds, and then he does an exaggerated shrug.
Austin Ramsey: “Who are they? In a way, it’s bad luck for them because after taking out the garbage, then we’ll go ahead and take them out, like putting the recycling out on the curb on garbage day. That’s how we will treat you once that bell rings, garbage. Garbage stinks up the place and must be removed immediately for the health of everyone. That is why we are the heroes that take care of the fans. They shouldn’t be subjected to trash for any longer than they have to. If I had my way, I would throw up the time you were destroyed in and then beat the clock to beat you faster that Thing One and Thing Two.
If I haven’t made it clear, my respect level for you is at an all-time low. What I do care about is seeing my wife hit you with the Hands On Your Knees (Widow’s Peak) and the referee getting down and counting one, two, three. The bell rings, you roll out of the ring disgraced like we snatched your wigs, or in this case, your masks, and we celebrate the victory with our fans.”
The scene opens up with Austin standing in the twins' nursery. He is looking down at them sleeping and smiles. “We did that.” He thinks to himself. He wants to reach down and pick them up when he hears a loud grunt behind him. He turns around and sees Berta giving him a disapproving look. Usually, Austin would mess with her like he would do anyone else, but he had to leave to get to an appointment.
He grunts back at her but turns around and leaves the room. She narrows her eyes at him, but he is already gone. She decides right then and there that she isn’t going to take his shit. He got off light this time. Pleased with himself, Austin grabs an apple and heads out to the garage.
AUSTIN CONFESSIONAL
Austin Ramsey: “Score, Austin one, Berta zero.”
The scene cuts back to Austin who is now backing out of the driveway. He throws the car in drive once he is on the street. He smiles and looks at the camera, and winks. Some of the other Austins shake their heads in the underground because someone will pay for that last interaction with Berta.
Austin Ramsey: “It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood. It’s a damn shame that Kaos and Kruel won’t be saying that at Kaged In. It’s really not, but I wanted to see how I would feel after saying that. All those bright colors aren’t going to save them from us turning out the lights when we pull the strings on the garbage bag we will put them in and tying it up. The only thing left to do is put that shit in the can and leave it on the curb where it belongs.”
AUSTIN CONFESSIONAL
Producer: “Are you really that confident that this is going to be a walk in the park during your match with Kryptonite?”
Austin Ramsey: “Hell yeah, I am. Look, I’m a larger-than-life personality with a propensity for violence and known to give zero fucks when I get into a fight. My ego is like my balls, big.”
Producer: “Do you ever worry that the fans will turn on Toddy because of your way of dealing with things?”
Austin Ramsey: “Nah, she don’t like a lot of the shit I do or say, but she doesn’t say anything. She lets me be the man that I am now. The Rockstars love me because they know I will do anything to keep her safe and put her above all others. I would die for that woman and my babies. Ain’t nobody fucking with them when I am around. When we are in that ring, she is my number one priority. I always want to see her hand raised and that beautiful smile on her face. That is what I will see when the smoke clears at Kaged In. It didn’t have to be Kryptonite; they just drew the short straw.”
The scene cuts back to Austin as continues driving silently. His phone rings and shows Toddy’s picture on the screen. He answers the phone, and Toddy and the twins look at him. He instantly gets a big grin on his face.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Guess who just woke up? Look, Dominic and Diana, it’s Daddy.”
The twins look at the screen, and Toddy takes their hands and waves at Austin. As if someone else was present in the car, Austin transforms and is nothing like the man who was just so aggressive. His demeanor is softer, kinder, and gentler.
Austin Ramsey: “Hello, Boy Child and Girl Child.”
Toddy resists the urge to laugh, and once the twins hear their father’s voice, they both smile.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Austin, they have names. Use them, please.”
Austin smirks because he knows Toddy wants to smile.
Austin Ramsey: “I got a name for you when I get back home. I’m gonna hit you with that. Hey, Big Head.”
Todrick blushes and rolls her eyes.
Austin Ramsey: “What are y’all about to do, Babe?”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “I think Berta and I are going to take them outside, and I’ll walk your stupid dogs.”
Austin Ramsey: “Hey! They keep y’all safe when I’m not there. Domino is the perfect guard dog. Give my boy a big hug for me.”
The dogs are running around looking for Austin in the background because they can hear his voice.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “How about I give him an eviction notice?”
Austin Ramsey: “I see somebody didn’t get enough of this act right earlier. Bet, what till I get you alone, tonight. We gonna fix all this lip and back talk, woman. I’m gonna beat it up like Rocky.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Boy, shut up. Be safe and behave yourself; I know you hate going to this doctor.”
Austin makes a disgusted face and sighs.
Austin Ramsey: “No promises, but at least I don’t have to deal with Nurse Grabby anymore.”
AUSTIN CONFESSIONAL
Austin Ramsey: “Yeah, I still go to Doc Cook, the same one you remember when I was in FIGHT! NYC. That means you also remember Nurse Grabby, the one that was always feeling my arms and my chest. That is until Toddy was in the room that one day. Damn, that was something to watch. Toddy isn’t a killer, but don’t push her. She also doesn’t play about someone feeling on her man. She wore her out. Hehehe.”
The scene cuts back to the car and the FaceTime.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “You know you liked it. You probably flexed.”
Austin Ramsey: “Is the thought of me flexing getting you hot in the rump?”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Goodbye, Austin.”
Austin Ramsey: “Wait, let me say goodbye to my bab..
Todrick hangs up the phone.
Austin Ramsey: “ies. Ain’t that a bitch.”
They pull up to a parking garage, and Austin parks the car. He gets out and takes a deep breath. He takes a pull off of his weed pen to keep the other Austins under control. He had been prescribed it because it seemed to help him control the personalities from surfacing when he didn’t want to change the driver, and it calmed him. Austin absolutely hated going to any doctor. Austin and the crew get in the elevator, and he fidgets with the zipper on his coat. They hear the elevator ding and the doors open. He walks up to the glass doors and steps through. He walks up to the front desk and begins filling out the paperwork. When he is done, he looks up, and to his dismay, he says a face from his past. She takes the paperwork and touches his hand, and smiles. “Not this bitch again; I hate it here.” Austin groans, and the scene fades to black.
