CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY:
From the underbelly that is Cleveland, Ohio comes “The GOAT” Serena Riot. Serena was born in the business, with her father being very successful. Being a 2nd Generation Wrestler didn’t deter her from what was important to her. And that was breaking the mold her father had left behind. She wasn’t going to live in his shadows as long as she could help it.
But her life would quickly take a turn in a bad direction. Her best friend Whitney passed away from a drug overdose. Enraged, Serena felt the only action necessary was to burn the house down of Whitney’s drug dealer. The plan was thwarted once cops had noticed her breaking into the house. It didn’t stop her from trying, but she ultimately failed. On June 11th, 2005 she would begin her attempted arson sentence. Upon leaving, she would move back home with her father, but it wasn’t long until she had moved to Honolulu Hawaii for a year.
It was there that she fell in love with Pro Wrestling. Upon moving back home to Cleveland, she would study tape and train under her fathers wing. Now with a new lease on life, she signed with Elite Answers Wrestling. Once her 1 year contract ran out, she opted not to resign. Instead, she moved onto Alpha Wrestling, but never found her footing.
After that, she signed with ZION Wrestling, and quickly moved up the ranks to become ZION World Heavyweight Champion. As the year came to a close she was named ZION Wrestler of the Year, and also Match of the Year against Legion. Upon leaving ZION at the start of 2022, however she became “The One-Off Queen,” having appeared for promotions such as PWV, DWA, APWO and others.
But, she made a shock return at Destiny Night 1, and hasn’t looked back since.
Aside from wrestling, Riot is a Vegan. She has a son, named Jack Elliot Hartson and is currently engaged to fellow ZION star Jordan Majors. Her best friend Ashlynn Cassidy is also Jack’s “Unappointed Auntie”. She has her own clothing line entitled “Riot Gear”.
ENTRANCE:
The stage fills with a light layer of smoke. The opening guitar to "Riot Maker" hits, with Serena standing right on top of the entrance way. The fans begin cheering as she does her signature pose. One hand behind her head with one hand up high and her tongue sticking out. She holds it there for a second before making a walk down to the ring. About halfway down the ramp, she nods her head and throws her jacket into the crowd. "That Bitch" makes a running dive into the ring and jumps up on a turnbuckle, but doesn't make a pose. Instead she just stands there nodding her head for a second before jumping off.
